so i started re-watching one of my fave 90s series The fresh prince of bel-air

i'm up to season 4 now and realised the original aunt viv was replaced with some lady with no personality and kinda boring to watch... #bleh. ok so here's the reason why the original aunt viv left...Diva or not?you decide.

anna sui-cide: get more for your money shopping in asia

Shopping in Asia is always a blast but knowing how to bargain is a skill you learn along the way...


Unfortunately for me i have a strong aussie accent when speaking bahasa indonesian and the sales assistants can smell a foreigner a mile away and take advantage of you (money wise). This is why you will definitely need to bring a local.. and my cousin is not only a local but also has the gift of the gab! thank goodness! haha.


As i am the BIGGEST Anna Sui Fan i had to make the most out of it..and may have gone over board!
IF only they had anna sui clothes!!!!! 
 because you can't buy any anna sui stuff in sydney :( by making the most of it i mean getting more for your buck i.e. getting free stuff and asking until they do give it...coz they will! and the beauty of it is that you can even bargain in department stores (that are the asian equivalent to Myer or david jones! which is where i got my stuff from!)


so heres what we got:


the best make up case because it has a compartment for your brush at the bottom..

a gorgeous vanity case

and this jewellery box (mind you this was ALL about $AUS30)

after buying all that we bargained and got this..

  *Clothes basket thing (i dont even know what its called but its awesome)

  * Pendant and eye shimmer
  * 2 blush brushes


So when in Asia do as the Asians do and ask... "if i buy this and this what do i get for free?" :) 

DIY:cute way to maintain your LV bag

so our last day in indonesia was sad and fun at the same time. We had to say goodbye to oma and family but we also got to raid the best walk in wardrobe ever!! it was seriously a walk-in closet made in designer heaven!what made it better was that my mum's friend whose closet we raided was the most beautiful soul! even though she is wealthy she gives her clothes to church or gives it to other people without hesitation. She's one of those really rare people who just give give give!!!! a true example of how humble one can be!

i noticed something really cute tante (aunty) put on the straps of her designer bags, noticeably her LVs -one which she gave us! definitely beats buying one!-in order for the straps not to go all dark and dirty looking , which happens when u hold them all the time.
