DIY:cute way to maintain your LV bag

so our last day in indonesia was sad and fun at the same time. We had to say goodbye to oma and family but we also got to raid the best walk in wardrobe ever!! it was seriously a walk-in closet made in designer heaven!what made it better was that my mum's friend whose closet we raided was the most beautiful soul! even though she is wealthy she gives her clothes to church or gives it to other people without hesitation. She's one of those really rare people who just give give give!!!! a true example of how humble one can be!

hermes bag please...so many bags so few hands!
hello lovers!
her collection is absolutely mouth watering!i'm not gonna show all the pics though.. some things are best kept secret hehe :P

Anyways..
i noticed something really cute tante (aunty) put on the straps of her designer bags, noticeably her LVs -one which she gave us! definitely beats buying one!-in order for the straps not to go all dark and dirty looking , which happens when u hold them all the time.

so heres what she did:
get some cute ribbon and wrap it around the straps from one side to the other

and voila!

cute non? try it!(^^)

family history lesson 101- king hasibuan's monument!

This family trip was definitely a lesson in family history.
after leaving Parapat we headed to Porsea to visit the monument built in honour of the first Hasibuan King. It was quite a drive but well worth it. i couldn't believe i was standing on the same ground the Hasibuan family started and how far we have spread out all over Indonesia and the world.

There are people still next to the monument.
amazing how they still live in traditional batak houses and still live in poverty but are very happy people.

north sumatra= horas banget!

After two wonderful weeks travelling around indonesia my family and i are finally back home. I feel like i've been gone for months because we jam packed so much in such a short period.
i just wish i brought my laptop to keep a travel blog but instead i wrote it out in my kikki.k diary old skool stylez lol.

i haven't uploaded photos from my harinezumi as i don;t have one of those converter usbs (bought one in indo for $2 but lost it.)but here are some of my fave pics from our first week in indonesia where went to NORTH SUMATRA -which is where my dad's village is and as we are the original people of sumatra, we are called batak.

this pic makes me laugh.he talk less BUT doesn't do more HAHA

omg! swimming in this lake is sooo frickin hard!because there's no salt the water is really heavy so it feels like its pulling u down so u gotta keep moving or else you'll go under in 2 secs.no wonder ppl in the old days thought that evil hands would pull you under.....so we didn't go out too far..lol
the pic on the right is the most gorgeous waterfall on the lake!there are quite a few water falls but this was magic!i wish i swam under it!
ok i didn't realise how many pics i like.. so i think i'm gonna make another post on north sumatra because its just TOO DAMN BEAUTIFUL
